  • Lloyd Spinley was the son of Joseph Spinley and of Sarah Jane Spinley (nee Pike), of Morrinsville.

    Left New Zealand twice; first time to Fiji, probably late 1940, and the second time to Egypt in 1941 on the Aquitania (ship)

    His brothers,of Wallace (38281) and Douglas Spinley (3075), also served in World War Two. AWMM
