      Squadron : 15 Squadron : 3 Group
      Squadron Motto : 'Aim Sure'.

      Lancaster LM121 LS-C took off at 23:57 hours from RAF Mildenhall, Suffolk, England detailed for an air mission to bomb railway yards at Trappes - near Paris - France.
      219 allied aircraft were on this air operation - and 4 including Lancaster LM121 LS-C failed to return to their home base in England.
      Lancaster LM121 LS-C was shot down by German fighter pilot Hptm Fritz Sothe 4./NJG4 at 01.50 hours. The Lancaster came down West of Lormaison. All crew were killed. Public - Jenifer - Researcher - 12 October 2019 - Reference : www.aircrewremembered.com (England)
