  • Wow so nice to find you online Great Uncle Frank. I will always have this very strong connection to you although we never did meet. Words cannot describe my absolute delight in my early 20s when I was a University Student at Canterbury .I had known Zane Kirk for sometime thru a mutual friend, but one night was lucky enough to be invited to the Kirks house to share a game of pool. There not he rooms of the pool room were photos of Zane Kirks dad "Winkie" as he was know and I can remembering saying to zane....I know a guy in that crew photo , thats my great Uncle Frank - my grandmothers brother. Thats Frank Jenkins!!! He nearly fell over and went to get his dad......well by this time I had hairs on my back...winkie and frank were in the plane that fateful night. Mr kirk was so excited he proceeded to show me franks autograph book etc..... just one of those moments you never think will happ

  • Hi my name is Breearna Rowe, i am doimg a project at my school about my great great uncel Frank. I have been interested about my familys history and i was intreged about Franks time at war. I love hering storys that my great grandmother has passed on and would love to learn more. My grandad Boyd Loveridge has also been passing on infomation.

  • To my Uncle Frank who I never got to meet but through my Mother, Elva, your sister, I felt I knew you very well. When I was born you sent me a babies brush and comb set plus some moccasins from Canada. I have those still and treasure them so much. You are our families hero and will be remembered always. Your memory is being passed on through the generations. I wish I had known you. Love always - Loris
