    • Charles Clarry was the son of Walter and Annie Clarry, of Napier, New Zealand. Native of Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.

      Joined unit at Gallipoli, 8 June 1915.
      Admitted to Casualty Clearing Station, Mudros, 22 August 1915, and transferred to Convalescent Camp; to England, 18 September 1915, and admitted to 2nd Western General Hospital, Manchester, 27 September 1915; disembarked Alexandria, 23 January 1916; rejoined Bn, Ismailia, 29 January 1916.
      Appointed Lance Corporal, 4 March 1916.
      Proceeded overseas to France, 6 April 1916.
      Appointed Temporary Corporal, 9 August 1916.
      Attached to Royal Engineers, 19 October 1916.
      Appointed Temporary Lance Sergeant, 25 December 1916.
      Rejoined Bn, 18 February 1917.
      Admitted to 5th Australian Divisional Rest Station, 12 October 1917 (shell wound, right arm); rejoined unit, 25 October 1917.
      Killed in action, Belgium, 3 December 1917.
