  • William Laurenson was the son of Thomas and Maud Laurenson (Nee Blenner-Hasett) and McLean by her first marriage. He was educated at Taihape and did not marry.

    He landed in Egypt in 1916 and fought in France in 1916.

    His brothers Gilbert and and John also fought in World War I.

    Buried at Soldiers Plot, Taihape Cemetery along with his brothers, Gilbert and John. AWMM
