  • Lenard Percy - born 1923 in Stratford New Zealand. Son of Annie and Percy Jones. Beloved brother of my nana, Jean Ludlam nee Jones. Killed in action 6 Dec 1943 and buried at Torino di Sangro (Sangro River War Cemetery), Provincia di Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy. I have visited his grave and it is the most serene beautiful cemetery looking out over the Italian hills.
