    With regards to the hospitalisation for trench fever, his family think it was unlikely that it was in fact this, as he was only in the field for 22 days, but he did speak about being gassed.

    Married 14 July 1920 Lilian Jane Hamilton - had two daughters and one son.

    Retired to Rawene, 1947. AWMM
