    Half-brother to Harold Thomas John Barnard Brooke (69569)

    His age is recorded as 37 years on his birth certificate and 33 years 271 days (Army Records), the date of birth 16 November 1880 Attestation

    Although the Nominal Roll states Stroud was married at the time of embarkation, he was legally separated. Another error in the Nominal Roll for Next of kin address is Wellington, his daughter lived in Saint Mary's Convent, Hamilton AWMM
