    • Son of Clarence John Kelly and of Kathrine Jessie Kelly (nee Hall), of Leamington, Cambridge, Auckland, New Zealand. AWMM
    • Spitfire pilot Clarence Lloyd Kelly was killed in action on Saturday the 8th of August 1942. He was the favourite nephew of my grandfather, Walter George Kelly. A hand-coloured photograph of Lloyd hung in my grandparents lounge in Matamata and now hangs on my wall. Each year I add my ANZAC Day poppy to the frame - Debbie McCauley.
