      Mosquito KB194 - piloted by New Zealander Pilot Officer George Mansell Proctor DFC - of Caversham, Dunedin and Navigator fellow Kiwi - Flying Officer Keith Leslie Kelly NZ/4212723 took off - at 21.04 hours from RAF Base at Barford, St John, Oxfordshire, England for a training flight. It is believed the aircraft lost control in cloud and the aircraft broke up and crashed at 21.04 hours at Heath Farm - between Hook Horton & Great Rollright.
