  • Years have gone by since in March 1944 when our Family received the shattering telegram informing us all of your death at Cassino. That day has lived with me all of these years. Our poor Parents along with rest of family were completely shattered it was some thing we all remembered for the rest of our days. Bob Many of your friends also lost their lives there too,the pride of the country March off to war but many do not come home, that is the part that hit when the boys all come home ,our boy and many many boys did not come home. The tragic loss of so many in the prime of life with so much to contribute lost it all, what a loss to our country. Your Brother Lindsay Kerr
