    • Henry Anderson was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth Anderson, of 34 Balmoral Road, Mount Eden, Auckland.

      Educated in Auckland.

      Took part in the charge at the Daisy Patch 8 May 1915, but while in a rest camp 2 miles to the rear at Helles a few days later was hit in the back above the kidneys by a stray bullet.

      Evacuated to HS Sicilia and died of wounds (developed enteric fever) 21 May 1915 at sea between Gallipoli and Alexandria.
