  • Uncle Will ,was my fathers oldest sibling
He had no children and wasn’t married.
He was a builder and spent time on Wellinton.
His family ,along with my father Gordon Lerwil Lankshear grew up in Levin.
His memorabilia has been in our family since I was a child, and was passed on to the next generations.
He is our Family’s War hero who gave his life at the age of 26 for his Country, as his plane was shot down over the Solomons .
    Not forgotten.
