    "The continuing danger was brought home when three New Zealand signalmen went for a walk over a hill immediately behind Divisional Headquarters on 6 December 1951. They followed a well-worn path until they reached the wire which they thought bounded a minefield, but somehow they missed the wire on the other side because they were already inside the minefield. One of the Chinese box-type mines was tripped off, and the explosion killed Signalman F.O. Percival." (McGibbon 1996, vol. 2, p. 242). AWMM
