    • Ewen Lilburn was the son of the late Mr Robert Lilburn and Rosamund Louisa Lilburn, of Wanganui, New Zealand.

      Was an old boy of Wanganui Collegiate School, and for a time worked on a station in New South Wales owned by Mr S. Kidman, known as the "Australian Cattle King.' AWMM
    • Ewen was the brother of Stuart (my father), Robert, Ken and Ian and was part of a large family who farmed approximately 10 Miles from Raethi on the Parapara Road which runs between Wanagnui and Raethi, it is also refered to as State Hwy 2. The property was primarly sheep and cattle country and was lease by the late Robert Liburn from the Atihua Incorporation under a 90 year lease - the property has since reverted back to Maori ownership and continues to be run as a sheep and cattle station.
