Edward was a brave, kind soul who gave the ultimate sacrifice for his country. I am doing a project on Edward and I admire his courage.

Edward was my Great Uncle - I recall my Great Aunt speaking fondly of him and how devastated she and their mother were when notified of his death. By all accounts he was a much loved, very decent country boy who was an excellent shot.
