    "Private R. Cogar, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Cogar, of Gisborne, who was reported on Wednesday to have been wounded, is now reported missing. His parents have been advised that Private Cogar was not wounded." (Auckland Weekly News, 1 July 1915, p. 21)
