  • William Cole was the son of William and Marian Cole, of 428, Oxford Street, Bondi Junction, Waverley, Sydney, Australia.

    The Auckland Museum Library's manuscripts collection contains a letter from Cole's employer, Mr George H. Clapham, of Te Kuiti, who mentions Cole being reported missing. [Ref. MS 2006/23, Item 2] AWMM
