  • In memory of the Uncle I never had the chance to meet.We keep your memory alive with the stories that my dad your brother Colin told me and I have passed on to my children. We go to put a poppy on your cross in New Plymouth every year and keep that remembrance alive ...I did this with my nana and she always had a tear in her eye then a smile as she talked to me about you.Thankyou for your part in WW11 we appreciate what you and your comrades did for us .My dad told me what it was like when you left for overseas and how he thought it was exciting .Then he told me of you sending him letters with stamps from around the world and then the sadness of your passing and how that felt to a young man who couldn't quite comprehend that he would never see his brother again. We will never forget you .You live on in our hearts.
