  • William (Bill) Miller was a close friend of my godfather, among his estate documents was a collection of letters from Bill when training in the UK. The final letter from my godfather was returned to sender following Bill's death when his aircraft crashed in 1942. I took this to the ANZAC service today in Bill's memory and to contemplate his sacrifice in the interests of our freedom from tyranny.
