A replica of a memorial in Weiswampach, Luxembourge, designed by Pol Holweck stands near the gun emplacements in Harbourview Orangihina Park in Te Atatu Peninsula. Unveiled in September 2010, it commemorates not only the airmen who died when their Lancaster bomber was shot down over the village of Weiswampach on 12/13 August 1944 but all those who lost their lives.

Attended Levin District High School, Horowhenua College, Wellington Technical College (Source: RNZAF Biographies (R17845613)) AWMM
