  • Ernest Myers was the son of Charles Myers, and of Lydia Myers (nee Cunningham), of Collingwood, Waikiwi, Invercargill

    Myers was part of Operation Platypus VI and VII, and was dropped into the Borneo Jungle in June 1945. Signalman Myers was killed alongside two Australian's who were also attached to Z special unit. AWMM
