  • Edwin Hoffmann Blomfield was a first cousin of my father. I have photographs of E H B (Eddie Blomfield) and a typescript of his war memoirs which he wrote in about 1930. It is an extraordinary account of his experiences, and I wish to make an illustrated book of it. I would like to have good quality photos of campaigns he was involved in : Egypt 1915, Gallipoli 1915, Ypres 1916, Marfaux (France) 1918 where he was awarded the MC. Can you help? I have made a pdf of the 200 page typescriopt. Would you like to have a copy? I am in Auckland today (Mar 17th) and tomorrow morning, and back again for the last weekend of this month. If you would like, I could call in and meet whoever might be intetrested tomorrow morning. Otherwise I could post it to you via DropBox, or airmail a memory stick which I have with me.. Regards, John Blomfield
