    Mr. and Mrs. R. Cook, of Makauri, have been advised that their son. Trooper A. C. Cook, has been killed in action. Trooper Cook was 22 years of age, and left as a farrier with the 15th Reinforcements in July last, and prior to enlisting was working for Mr. D. Beil, of Makaraka. Before leaving for the front Trooper Cook was married to Miss F. McKay, of Ormond Public - Lorraine Mona - Researcher - 11 May 2023 - PERSONAL NOTES.
