  • Lloyd Pearson was the son of Joseph Pearson and Edith Julia Pearson (nee Cochrane).

    Three brothers went to war: Arthur Joseph Pearson (41554); Loyd Ralph (22191) killed in action and Leslie Samuel Pearson (82441)

    On the 23rd April 1941 Ralph was last seen driving a truck in a 23 Battalion convoy. The unit was withdrawing from Molos, Greece at night. He did not arrive at his destination and was reported missing in Greece.

    Officially declared killed in action and his death registered 29 August 1947
