  • My Father (WALTER JACK PERRY) came to England in 1940 and met my Mother. They spent that Christmas together before he left for Crete in the following January. (1940) After Crete he went to Egypt. He accidentally died 9th October 1941 at El Alamein and is buried there. As his death was accidental an enquiry was held in Cairo. His medals were sent to his Father William Arthur Perry)
