  • Chester was my 4th cousin 1 x removed and lived 11,000 miles away. He was the son of Charles Inman Probert and Ethel G F Blathwayt (my 3rd cousin 2x removed) of the well known Blathwayt family from England and Wales. I would have liked to have a met the brave man that was Chester Probert as my own father served in the Royal Air Force and suffered for his wartime service. Chester died in the service of his country.
