    • Mervyn Roberts was the son of Percival Russell Roberts and Ada Pearl Roberts, of Hastings, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. AWMM
    • Mervyn Roberts was the son of Percival Russell Roberts and Ada Pearl Roberts, of Koputaroa and later Fairfield Levin where Mervyn was born.
      His mother Ada never lived in Hastings as she passed away just before Mervyn's sixth birthday, Percival didn't settle in Hastings until after Mervyn was killed in action.
