      Reported Wounded, 8 May 1915.
      Subsequently confirmed killed in action, 8 May 1915.

    • 'Addington Blacksmith Killed'
      The following resolution was carried in deep silence at a meeting of Addington employees: The members of the blacksmithing department, Addington Workshops, desire to express their deepest sympathy with the relatives of our late shop mate, P. S. Coote, who was killed in action, fighting for his country at the Dardanelles. Deceased was formerly a blacksmith, and left with Main Expeditionary Force.
