  • A TRUE HERO, POCIVACO U MIRU UNCLE
    Public - AMANDA - Other relative - 29 Hakihea 2015
  • In memory of Uncle Nick, He talked sparingly about the war and never acknowledged its affect on him. My late father (also in the war) marveled at his exploits during the war. He is a family hero, a war hero whose sacrifices helped preserve the freedom and life we have today. God bless you Uncle Nick. Pocivao u miru
    Public - Christopher - Other Relative - 31 Hereturikōkā 2015
  • In remembrance of Uncle Nick, a true hero. Rest in peace.
    Public - Paul - Other Relative - 26 Paengawhāwhā 2015
  • Just discovered talking to my Dad (Patrick Anthony Matich) that we have a Hero in the Family. Quite proud of our cousin. Have shown my 7 year old son who has become quite interested in the history of WW2. Good reminder of what our family's all sacrificed throughout two world wars for us to be here today. Lest we forget.
