    The Returned Soldiers Association provided a party of pall-bearers at the funeral of the late Private John Allwood this afternoon. The War Relief Association were represented at the funeral by the Mayor (Mr R. Gal braith) and Mr F. Ferriman. Bugler D. H. Moore sounded the "Last Post" at the graveside.
