This booklet was compiled in April 2015 by Anne Ogilvie, granddaughter of Thomas Reginald Hanna-for the 100 year centenary of WW1. It tells a family story of five brothers who went to war and the effects that had on them and the generations to come.George Victor Hanna was one of those brothers. My mother, Elisabeth Ogilvie,researched her father Tom's war efforts and later toured the battlefields. Her stories of that emotional journey and recollections of her father and uncles are contained in this commemerative booklet. Elisabeth Ogilvie was also the primary New Zealand researcher for the War Historian Lyn Macdonald for her book 1914-1918 Voices and images of the Great War.
