SIXTEEN ADMISSIONS YESTERDAY. TWO MORE NURSES AFFLICTED. TWO RETURNED SOLDIERS SUCCUMB. The public will be grieved to learn that the admission's of influenza eases to the Public Hospital yesterday made the highest aggregate for a single day since the epidemic has arisen. There were in all sixteen now outside patients, and two more nurses became infected. Some ten of the fresh cases were admitted after 5 p.m. In one case a family of strangers to the town, including father, mother and two children, had to be sent in from a private hotel. During the morning two deaths occurred, the victims being returned soldiers—Hugh McLean. a native of America, who was admitted on October 31. and James Brown, a. Maori, who was admitted on November 5.
