  • Edward Andrews was the son of Charles and Caroline Andrews of Norfolk, United Kingdom.

    Killed in action 7 August 1915 in the charge on the Pinnacle during the August Offensive but death recorded as 8 August 1915.

    Joined unit at Gallipoli, 8 June 1915.
    Admitted to NZ Field Ambulance, Gallipoli, 11 July 1915; transferred to 1st Australian Stationary Hospital, Lemnos, 12 July 1915; to 24th CC Hospital, Lemnos, 19 July 1915; discharged from hospital, 20 July 1915; rejoined unit at Gallipoli, 31 July 1915.
    Killed in action, 8 August 1915.
