      Listed at Archives New Zealand as James Osborn Ambrose and by CWGC as James Osbon Ambrose. Both spellings appear in his Military Personnel file, his attestation document reads 'Osbon'. His death record in BDM online is spelled 'Osborn'. AWMM
    • Correct spelling of second name is 'Osbon" Public - Sally Ann - Other Relative - 6 May 2015 - Family oral history. Mother-in-law is niece of said Jim Osbon Ambrose and her name is Norah Osbon Morch nee Stanford.
