    • He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Chambers, of Leamington.

      Private Joseph Chambers (48620), a member of the 26th reinforcements, was coming home on leave when he slipped at the Frankton Railway Station while getting off the train. He died of injuries 4 April 1917 and was buried, at the Leamington cemetery, Cambridge with the Territorials, Senior Cadets and members of the National Reserve on parade. AWMM
