  • Arthur Crowhurst was the eighth son of Samuel George and Catherine Crowhurst, 24 Eden Street, Newmarket, Auckland.

    The funeral was held in Auckland and reported in the Colonist 17 August 1915.

    Five sons served in WW1: Arthur Frederick Livingstone Crowhurst (24/99) died; Francis Ernest Crowhurst (60080) kia, Leslie Upton Clifford Crowhurst (60081), Samuel Alfred Crowhurst (12/1933) kia, Victor Roy Crowhurst (12/1934)
