  • Ken's wife says : 'My husband's brother who is 12 years younger remembers opening the door when the telegram arrived to say Ken was missing in action. I believe it was some months before the family found out he was a prisoner of war. Ken's other brother John was in the Navy and served with the British Navy, so there were two boys away at the same time. Both arrived back home luckily.'
