    3 October 1917: Posted 4 Reserve Wellington Regiment. Marched and posted to camp SLING until 19 November 1917. Then left for France , Lyon as a NZI and GBD (NZ Infantry and General Base Dept.) Etaples 19 Novemebr 1917

    19 December 1917: Joined Battalion and posted to 17 Company Field as a Rifleman

    24 February 1918: Transferred to 4 Battalion, NZ Rifle Brigade
