  • One of three brothers, Thomas Harcourt Ambrose and Herbert J. and Harry Phipps Valintine.

    Married twice; first Emily Jane ? who died in 1928 at Whanganui. (England). he then married Eileen Maud Bell in 1929 (died 6 March 1946, aged 67)

    His son Lindsay Thomas Valintine, known as Tom served as a sapper (4/1012) WWI, with the 6th Field Engineers. he later had children, one son and one daughter, named Bertha, named after her grandmother.
