  • I am a university student currently writing a paper about the experiences of Australian and New Zealand soldiers during the First World War. While researching, I came across your diary and was moved by your raw honesty about the hardships of war. May you find the peace that you so craved and receive the joy and love that you are so deserving of. Your words live on today and touch the lives of people like myself in a way that you could never have comprehended and I thank you for that. My love, respect and gratitude are with you always,
