    Transferred to 3rd (Auckland) Regiment as a Lieutenant 7 December 1912

    Rank of Captain gazetted 13 July 1917

    Transferred to the Reserve of Officers 20 August 1921

    New Zealand Territorial Service Medal received 20 May 1922

    Granted temporary rank of Lieutenant and posted to 1st Battalion National Military Reserve 21 February 1941

    Marched in to course Army Staff College, Palmerston North 10 January 1942; marched out 18 January 1942.

    May 1942 marched in from 4 Auckland for suites as Staff Captain
