  • Price returned to New Zealand on the S.S. 'Harleck Castle' but later joined the Staff 7 NZMR as 4060 Regimental Sergeant-Major, sailing aboard S.S. 'Gulf of Taranto' from Wellington on 6 April 1901. (Stowers, p.153)

    After the war Price stayed in Transvaal working in the diamond mines.

    Price also served in World War One in East Africa.

    His sister was the first New Zealand Nurse in France to be decorated with the Royal Red Cross, presented by King George. (Stowers, p.153)

    Died in Johannesburg
