  • Hogg left South Africa on the S.S. 'Harleck'. He travelled to England in 1901 and received commission in the Scottish Horse and intended to return to South Africa, but was badly injured in a cab accident in London and was admitted to hospital. On recovery he returned to New Zealand. (Stowers, p.152)

    Hogg later moved to Australia and resided in Mebourne.

    Died in Melborne Pre 1947 AWMM
