  • Son of William Australia Graham and Alice Graham, of 'The Lodge', Hamilton.

    Educated in Hamilton and then apprenticed to Massey Brothers of Auckland where he gained his chief engineer's certificate.

    A war biography, compiled by Roland Hume, on Cedric Graham is held in the Auckland Museum Library Manuscript Collection (MS 2004/25). It contains biographical notes, photographs and official records outlining Graham's military career. Also included are 2 letters from his father (one undated; the second 13 August 1914) and 2 letters to his family (16 June 1916; 21 May 1916[?]), extracts from printed material such as newspaper clippings relating to his death, and official published sources on the battle of the Somme.
