  • Norman Cummins was the son of William Henry and Julia Eliza Cummins, of 33 Drummond St., Wellington, New Zealand.

    Served 30 days hard labour for drunkeness, February 1915. Sentence commuted to 30 Days Field Punishment No. 1 in Samoa, signed 12 February 1915.
    Returned from Samoa HMNZT 16, Talune.

    Appointed Lance Corporal March 1916 whilst in Egypt; relinquished rank at own request 5 June 1916 in the field France. AWMM
