  • No. 2 New Zealand Stationary Hospital with eight officers and 87 other ranks sailed from Wellington arriving at Suez on 22 July 1915. The Egyptian Government had offered the Egyptian Army Hospital at Pont de Koubbeh,Cairo which is where the New Zealanders set up No. 2 Stationary Hospital.
