    • Son of William Daniel & Elizabeth Fanny (nee St John) Cresswell - of Stoke, Nelson. Father William Cresswell was a groundsman/gardener at the historic Isel Park House, Stoke, Nelson.
      Brother of Private Alfred Edward Cresswell : NZEF Service # 6/1500 - Canterbury Infantry Regiment NZEF - who was killed in action - 17 September 1916 - at the Somme, France. Albert had served at Gallipoli from the ANZAC landings to the evacuation. Public - Jenifer - Researcher - 9 November 2017 - Family.
