  • Miller was the subject of a Court of Enquiry into the nature of an injury he received while repairing a weapon. The Board found that there was insufficient evidence for a charge of self-inflicted wounding and found that the injury was accidentally self-inflicted. General Russell concurred with this finding and did not consider disciplinary action necessary

    Edward Miller also served during World War II as a Drill Sergeant at Burnham Military Camp training soldiers for service overseas. AWMM
