    Stratford Press, 21 June 1991: The death took place on Tuesday, June 18 of Charles Cedric Rowe, aged 74, at Paihia. Charlie was a well known identity in Huinga and Toko where he farmed most of his life before moving to Kaikohe. He was deputy chairman of the Stratford Dairy Co for many years and served on all district committees. He was associated with the Kiwi concert party and well known as a singer in entertainment circles. Charlie is survived by his wife Resli, and five children. AWMM
